India’s popular reality TV dance show Dance India Dance Season 6(DID) grand finale was held with a bang on Sunday. Contestant Sanket Gaonkar of Karnataka was declared the winner of the show and lifted the trophy.
The finale witnessed a series of mind boggling performances. Sanket was a part of choreographer cum mentor Mini Pradhan gang name Mini Ke Masterblaster. He got an entry into the show after clearing the Mumbai auditions.
The DID season 6 had coregraphers Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji and Mini Pradhan as judges. They became mentors for the young talents while Grand Master Mithun Chakraborty encouraged the terrific budding dancers.
The finalists of the season were Sachin Sharma, Piyush Gurbhele, Nainika Anasuru and Shivam Wankhede Besides winning the trophy, Sanket also got a prize money of Rs 5 lakh respectively.
The show first aired in 2009 and gave us a host of talented dancers from across the country.To top it all grand master Mithun Chakraborty’s presence in the show is enjoyed by all.
