Scotland was handed an unprecedented gift of possible independence with Britain’s mess over separation from the European Union. The Theresa May government has not been able to come with a common referendum in the parliament over the clauses of separation and further the delay , more the time for Nicola Sturgeon to go over the possibilities of Scotland’s independence from Britain.
The Scottish First Minister is in staunch opposition of Brexit and has commented on having decided to go over the separation plans from later this month.
Scottish Minister for Europe, Migration and International Development Ben Macpherson commented that the party is “absolutely committed to an independent Scotland in the European Union”
5 years back the Scottish referendum was in favour of staying with United Kingdom but that changed overnight with the Brexit decision coming in favour of leaving EU. More and more Scots are now jumping the wagon in support of independence since they align with the EU vision.
60 percent of Scots voted in favour of staying with the EU, The conundrum is for the ones who want a clean break from both London and Brussels.
