The trailer of Sanju, a biopic on Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt’s life, made a lot of noise and the director Rajkumar Hirani wants to sustain the momentum. To do it, he has released two new posters of the film featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Dutt.
The posters tell the audience new facts about Dutt’s life. The first poster reveals that Dutt fled from a rehabilitation centre in America where he was getting treated for his drug related problems. Not only this, he also begged on the streets to buy a bus ticket to reach his friends in a different city.
The other poster says how Dutt lost his mother, Nargis, just three days before the release of his debut film, Rocky in 1981. Dutt was very close to his mother and this broke him.
Manisha Koirala is playing the role of Nargis in Sanju.
Sharing many of her looks as Nargis, Manisha wrote on Instagram, “Many different looks were tried on.. through various photographs and books and documentary.. here are few for you guys.. peep in to what goes on to create a look..among other things we tried many hair styles.”
The film is slated to hit theatres on June 29 and also features Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh in important roles.
