West Bengal Chief Minister mamata banerjee on Monday said that her target wqas Red Fort and that she will leave her party’s imprint in the national capital.She said that she will begin the Delhi chalo slogan.
“Some are saying that the BJP’s next target is Bengal. But for the sake of the country we have set our target on Delhi, on Lal Quila (Red Fort),” she told a public meeting in Purulia, indicating that Trinamool Congress would play a major role in national politics.
“Delhi chalo… Lal Qila chalo… We believe in Netaji (Subhas Chandra Bose’s) slogan. Bengal will not bow down to anyone”, she said.
She further added that Bengal would stand by everyone in the fight against the Centre but would not demand any benefit for themselves.
“Bengal will not take anything for themselves but they will stand by everyone. They will take everyone along and fight. They will show what Bengal can do, no one else can,” she claimed amid massive cheers from the crowd.
banerjee attacked the bjp and said that the party is trying to buy off the poor people by shelling out cash and also dividivng people on communal lines.
