Guns and Tweets

The war between Pro gun lobbyists and liberal media intensifies in the aftermath of the Florida Shooting.
Thanks to social media, we all now have a ringside seat to tragedy.
Tomi Lahren the erstwhile social media pundit at Fox news posted a now infamous twee slamming the gun control activists for their mistimed criticism of the gun laws prevalent in the country that could lead a disturbed teenager have in his hands an AR-15 like that happened in Florida.

On February 15,Tomi Lahren posted on her twitter feed,
“Can the Left let the families grieve for even 24 hours before they push their anti-gun and anti-gunowner agenda? My goodness. This isn’t about a gun it’s about another lunatic. #FloridaShooting .”

In response to Lahren’s comments, Carly Novell, a 17-year-old senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who says she hid in a closet during the attack, shared her harrowing story on Twitter.

“I was hiding in a closet for 2 hours. It was about guns. You weren’t there, you don’t know how it felt. Guns give these disgusting people the ability to kill other human beings. This IS about guns and this is about all the people who had their life abruptly ended because of guns.”

As the twitter feed grows so does the criticism of the present government in its failure to overcome the NRA politics and do something substantial in curbing this nation wide spree of school shootings.
