Coldest village in Siberia has people ‘s eyelids frozen

A place in Siberia called Oymyakon is one of the coldest permanently inhabited places on earth , has broken all records and is experiencing low temperatures where individuals have their eye lashes frozen and the village recorded a temperature of as low as minus 62 degrees Celsius.
According to a report, a new electronic thermometer which was installed in the village broke due to excessive cold.
Another interesting picture is going viral on social media where a woman Anastasia Gruzdeva, is seen with frozen eye lashes and it looks as if its a scene straight out of Disney’s Frozen.Not just her a lot of other people have also shared similar pictures of their ice covered eye lashes.
As per Siberian Times, minus 67.7 degrees Celsius has been the coldest-ever officially recorded for a permanently inhabited settlement anywhere in the world, and the frostiest in the Northern hemisphere. That temperature was recorded in Oymyakon itself, back in 1993.
The villagers survive the winters where the temperature drops to an average of 50 C in January and Februrary. The inhabitants brave the weather by burning coal and wood to get some warmth.The lenghth of the days of the village varies from 3 hours in December to 21 hours in summer.
