Bangladesh plane crashes at Nepal airport

As per reports, a passenger plane carrying 67 passengers, has crashed at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday while coming in to land at the airport in the Nepali capital, Kathmandu, an airport official said, adding that 17 people on board had been rescued.

The plane from US-Bangla, a Bangladeshi airline, went off the runway while landing and crashed on the east side of the airport’s runway.Reports, quoting an airport spokesperson, said that casualties were feared.

As soon as the administration learned about the incident, they dispatched firefighters to the spot.The plane has been identified as S2-AGU, a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, reports claimed. The plane can reportedly carry 78 passengers.
